Born in 1957, Meenu Srivastav completed her diploma in painting from Rajasthan School of Art, Jaipur.
Meenu Srivastava is most frequently exhibited in India, but also had exhibitions in Egypt. Meenu Srivastava’s first exhibition was International Mail Art – Egypt 2014 at L'Atelier D'Alexandrie in Alexandria in 2014, and the most recent exhibition was Group exhibition at ICA gallery in Jaipur, Rajasthan in 2023.
Meenu Srivastava is ranked among the Top 1,000,000 globally, and among the Top 1,000 in India. Srivastava’s best rank was in 2014, the artist’s rank has improved over the last two years, with the most dramatic change in 2019.
She is a recipient of the Lalit Kala Academy award, New Delhi 2001; State award by Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi 1999; award by AIFACS New Delhi – 1997.
She had solo shows in Jehangir art gallery, Ravindra Bhavan and AIFACS Gallery, New Delhi. She has also participated internationally in countries such as Korea, Australia, Egypt, Hungary.
Her works are in many private and public art collections.
