It is an amazing and meaningful space. Will surely become very important as the exhibitions begin to happen here. I wish this space and the people involved with it the best of luck and success in time to come.
Every time to meet Himmat Shah Ji…Every time to get introduced to new people through Himmat ji…and see new gallery spaces…It’s truly an honor for a young art enthusiast to see his work again and again… So much to learn and imbibe... Congratulations Monica for hosting the show of the “REBEL ARTIST” who never stops inspiring the dancer in me
My name is Biju George Joseph, and I am an additional DGP of Rajasthan. It has been a very pleasant experience coming here and witnessing all the paintings on display, especially knowing that these were all created during the period of lockdown. What's even more wonderful is how each piece depicts so much meaning. I hope this exhibition becomes a great opportunity for the people of Jaipur as well.
A delightful collection to be seen for the first time. Lovely show keep it going
We are delighted to have come here from Kolkata and to be in this wonderful gallery, JCCA, Jaipur. It is truly fascinating to see such a beautiful gallery in this city, which we did not expect. You must visit and see Himmat Shah's exhibition on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Being here is truly a delightful experience!
Awesome- Congratulations, and a very nice centre of culture and arts. Lots of love and Best wishes
Hearty congratulations Tarun ji for establishing a magnificent centre of arts in our city Jaipur exhibiting the precious art works from the renowned and budding artists of India, especially from Rajasthan. I am sure it is going to be a landmark not only for Jaipur or Rajasthan but for our country. My sincere thanks to, you, the Director Monika ji, your both daughters and Sankalp ji for your kind invitation to visit your Centre giving us an opportunity for the exposure to contemporary abstract art besides traditional art from contemporary famous artists. It has been an exciting and educative experience for me to learn from Ghanshyam ji that a new dimension can be provided to this art work by linking it to investment. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening of your kind hospitality with delicious dishes, drinks and lively fellowship. My best wishes to you and your team in your endeavours.
My sincere thanks also to our President Reena ji and our Executive team for including this wonderful event in our calendar.
I am Gautam Das, currently a teacher at Kala Bhawan. Just a few months ago, I was the dean of the university. I must say this place is truly fantastic. I feel immensely delighted to be surrounded by renowned and photogenic artists. My first encounter with Himmat sir was in 2001 when he was around 70. He used to reside in Delhi at the Lalit Kala Centre, where I met him during an Art workshop. I have maintained a connection with Himmat sir ever since that day. He is an incredibly remarkable person. Whenever we sit together and converse, I want to listen to him attentively. When I heard about the exhibition "Himmat's 90," and my friend, the curator Jyotirmoy, expressed his interest in going to Jaipur for the show, I immediately agreed and said, "Why not!" Now that I am here, I am in awe of this beautiful new gallery.
I am Mona Rai, an artist residing in Delhi. I must say that the new JCCA gallery is exceptionally well-designed, both aesthetically and practically, making it a perfect venue for social and art exhibitions. The rooftop area, with its garden, office, kitchen, and artist's stay room, adds to the gallery's charm. It is truly a beautiful place, and my heartfelt congratulations go to Mr. Tarun Sharda for this accomplishment. The Himmat show currently exhibited here holds a special significance for me. I have known Himmat Shah from the days when he used to live in Delhi, which spans over 40 years. I have always admired his work, especially his terracotta sculptures, drawings, and sculptures. I am impressed with how Jyotirmoy Bhattcharya curated the show, presenting all the archival material that he collected in such an exemplary manner. The exhibition is truly a work of art in itself.
