Born in 1975, Bundi, Rajasthan, Ashish completed his Master of Arts in Drawing and painting in 1995, followed by a PhD in Fine Arts in 2006.

After dedicating many years to the field of art as a learner, Ashish is now spreading the knowledge of art as an Assistant Professor in Drawing & Painting to the students pursuing higher education at the Govt. College, Bundi

His collections are showcased in Juneja Art Gallery, Jaipur; Gallery ArtChill, Jaipur; Contemporary Art Gallery, Kota; BougainVillaea Art Gallery, Udaipur and in many private collections across India and Abroad.

Ashish has held the solo exhibitions, “Sakshi” in 2001 at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur and “Metaphysical Through the Physical” in 2009-10 at zimmer16 - Camera Dell Art, Florastraze, Berlin, Germany.

Ashish Shirangi has also held many group exhibitions in India and abroad. He has participated in various camps organised in India.

Ashish has received state award from the Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi and a scholarship from AIFACS.
