The exhibition pays tribute to the mastery of sculptor Himmat Shah through the showcase of his 'Pandemic Drawings.' Titled "Under the Mask," this new exhibition unveils an exceptional collection of drawings that reflect the artist's creative response to the challenges of the times. Curated by Jyotirmoy Bhattacharya and hosted at the JCCA, the exhibition features 300 paintings created by Shah during the Covid-19 pandemic. It aims to unveil Shah's introspection and exploration of hidden truths beneath the surface, offering a unique glimpse into his artistic resilience and deep dive into human emotions. According to the curator, this exhibition provides a distinctive opportunity to experience the profound expressions of one of India's living master artists.

A remarkable aspect of the exhibition is the unveiling of two sculptures by the 90-year-old artist, crafted using real diamonds. This captivating creation marks its first public appearance in India, adding another layer of significance to the display.
